Women, Art & Identity Workshop - 2nd June 2026 - 1pm - 2.15pm
This project brings together women from multi-faith and multicultural backgrounds to explore identity, heritage, and shared experiences through creative art-making.
The sessions are providing a welcoming and supportive environment where participants can connect, reflect, and express themselves visually, regardless of artistic experience.
Delivered by the artist Khulood Da'mi and enabled by Islington Giving, the sessions aims are:
* to foster connection and friendship across cultures and faiths
* to promote wellbeing through creative expression
* to celebrate diversity and shared human experiences
* to build confidence and a sense of belonging within the local community
OPEN DAY - 20th June 2026 - 12noon - 4pm
Please join us to celebrate the centre and its activities. There will be stalls, music, bouncy castle, refreshments, raffle...
A perfect time to meet your community and spend a good time. Our garden will offer plenty of shade, we have booked the sunshine.

Free Nature Walks in Islington - Neighbourhood Hikes
Neighbourhood Hikes are offering free weekly walks for local residents to explore green spaces, community gardens and hidden nature spots across the area.
These gentle guided walks are a great way to enjoy fresh air, notice more of the nature
around you, and connect with others in the community. Each walk lasts up to an hour and finishes with refreshments and a chat.
Starting from 14th April, to 22nd September 2026
Every Tuesday, plus every fourth Saturday of the month 10:30am to 12pm
All walks begin outside the Old Fire Station, Holloway Neighbourhood Group, N7 6QT
Walks will end at local nature spaces including Hilldrop Community Centre, Holloway Neighbourhood Group, Whittington Park Community Centre, the Community Plant Nursery, or another nearby outdoor spot.
Everyone is welcome. Please wear comfortable footwear and bring a water bottle.
