We have suspended most of our usual activities in order to limit the spread of COVID-19.

A member of staff will be on site from 10am-4pm Monday to Friday. If you need help please contact us so we can put you in touch with the support you need.


Visitors to the centre must observe our hygiene and social distancing rules. Do not come to the centre if you are experiencing, or have been in contact with someone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.


Food Parcel Service Update

Our drop-in food bank is now closed.


Food parcels are available for collection to local households that are registered with the centre only

(by appointment on Tuesdays).

If you live outside of the local area please download our list of other food distribution centres in Islington.

Note: The centre will be closed between the 15th and 31st August. There will be no services running during this period.


The Food Hub project will return on Tuesday 8th September with a ‘takeaway’ service.

The Hilldrop Artistic Takeover goes online!

Helen Ainsworth and Irene Ros, two performance makers from Cut Moose, are running free weekly multimedia & performance workshops for teens aged 12-17. Originally planned to take place at Hilldrop, the workshops have now shifted online, starting Wednesday the 29th of April at 5:00 pm.


There will be some simple activities online to begin with on Instagram and Facebook. To take part just follow the links.

The idea behind the workshop is to shape a creation together, live, with the participants.


Funded by Islington Council’s Community Chest, in partnership with the Cripplegate Foundation. 

Wednesdays from 5pm. Free.

Closure of Small Hall during building works

From Monday 23rd March the Small Hall will be closed to activities while our front lobby and WCs are refurbished. Islington Council estimate the works will be finished by Monday April 6th at the earliest and by the Easter bank holiday weekend at the latest. We will post an update before April 6th on when we expect the hall to be open again. 

The following activities will not run during this period: Sewing & Craft Group, Thursday Lunch Club, Ukelele Group, Toy Library, Bengali Kids Group, Sisters Uncut meetings, AA meetings. 

Monday 23rd March to Monday April 6th (end date subject to change)
