Shake-scene Shakespeare present 'As You Like It'

Sunday 2nd June 2024 

We‘re delighted to welcome Shake-Scene Shakespeare back to Hilldrop for another special fundraising performance. Go wild in the Forest of Arden in this back to nature comedy!

Full price tickets £10, or £20 for a family of 4. Book at Concessionary tickets (£5) can be bought at the centre or by contacting All proceeds support Hilldrop services. Suitable for ages 8+. Wheelchair accessible. Performance time 90 minutes with refreshments available before and after.

We'll be serving a full Christmas Dinner & Vegetarian Buffet. Our fabulous volunteers from Howden Group Holdings will be providing entertainment.

Christmas Family Craft Session & Wreath Making Workshop

Saturday 2nd December 2023 10am - 2pm. 


Join us for our Christmas Family Craft Session, where we'll be hosting a wreath making workshop with Islington Adult Community Learning. 

If you'd like to join the workshop RSVP  by text to Juliete on 07816 116 639 with your name and the number of children and adults attending.

Refreshments and materials provided.

Affordable Christmas Fair

Bring all the family to our festive marketplace, with a jumble sale and stalls selling handmade art & craft items, bric-a-brac, clothes & gifts!

A Midsummer Night's Dream

We'd like to say an enormous Thank You to Shake-scene Shakespeare for freely giving their time and talent to bring A Midsummer Night's Dream to Hilldrop!


Our amazing company of players came from as far afield as Devon, Paris and New York to raise money for our services and treat our audience to a truly unique experience that was thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you to everyone who bought tickets and supported us on the day.
