Come to our free Jubilations Family Craft Day

Saturday 28th May 2022 1 - 4pm

 

Come to our free Family Craft Day on Saturday 28th May  and join us in making crowns, costumes, hobby-horses and decorations!  You can bring a trike or scooter and decorate it too! Whether it’s flowers, ribbons, balloons, paints, fabrics, flags or toys, we’ll help you realise your creations! Free.

Jubilations! The Jubilee Summer Fair and Parade

Wednesday 1st June 2022 3pm - 8.30pm

 

Join us for a Jubilee Parade on Hilldrop Road, a Tea Party on Community Lane & an International Supper in our lovely gardens! We’re inviting kids & families to wear crowns & fancy dress for our Jubilee Parade and bring decorated hobby-horses, trikes & scooters!

Schedule:

From 3.00pm: Tea Party begins on Community Lane

From 3.30pm:  Parade begins outside the Community Centre

From 4.30—8.30pm: Join us for a Garden Party featuring an

international supper and evening entertainments including the Hilldrop Ukelele Band and Camden Harmony Singers Choir!

The Hilldrop Health & Wellbeing fair 2022 

Saturday 2nd July 2022 12pm - 5pm

 

We're planning another Health & Wellbeing Fair on Saturday 2nd July, where we'll be offering  therapeutic activities, advice on healthy living, workshops, arts & crafts and delicious healthy foods to sample! 12pm - 5pm

Shakespeare at Hilldrop! 

Sunday 4th September 2022 3pm - 6pm

 

We're partnering with Shake-Scene Shakespeare to deliver a one-off production of Romeo & Juliet using our centre and gardens on Sunday 4th September.

 

Accessibly priced tickets will be available later in the year for this very special fundraiser!

'New Shoots' Social Event

Saturday 7th May 2022 2pm - 4.30pm

St George's Mutual Aid invites you to find out what's growing at Hilldrop Community Centre and hear about the new Greening the Grey project on Community Lane! Why not drop in, make friends, enjoy some refreshments and explore our community garden? There'll also be a free Wildlife Gardening Workshop with Fran from the Octopus Community Network.

Super Soup Week at Hilldrop 

Tuesday 25th January 2022 12.30 - 3pm

 

Soup Week 2022 is nearly here! Drop into Hilldrop on Tuesday 25th January for a free hearty soup among friends!

 

The week will be filled with local soup events with our fellow Community Centres across the borough. Join us from 12.30pm after our Mend & Make workshop. 

'The Common Thread' Social Event 

Saturday 29th January 2022

 

Our friends St George's Mutual Aid are hosting 'The Common Thread', a free event celebrating our community and the amazing work of our local volunteers through the COVID crisis and beyond. 

 

We'll also have a talk from Elaine about our sewing & craft projects and 'Quilting for Radical Change' through history. All are welcome to drop in. Refreshments provided.
