Lunch Club activities

Tuesdays (term - time only). 


We offer trips and outings to members of our Tuesday Lunch Club & Social during the spring and summer terms, including visits to museums, gardens, galleries, and Regent's Canal.


Participants must be registered Hilldrop service users and resident in nearby Islington or Camden  

New Walking Art Courses For Summer 2024

If you enjoy creative activities linked to getting out and about, the Walking Art Workshop is free to Camden & Islington residents.

We'll be running two new 5 week courses. The first will begin on Wednesday 17th April, running until the 15th May. The second will begin on Wednesday 5th June and will run until the 3rd July


NEW START TIMES: Wednesdays 10.00am to 12.30 pm (term-time). Meet in the Small Hall. Please arrive promptly to take part in planned walks.

Creative Dinners

Cut Moose invite Islington & Camden families to Creative Dinners!


Come and make a meal with the family, play some arty games, and enjoy a free sit down dinner together. Ingredients provided.

Sewing Skills: New 10 week course starting Thursday 25th April.

Both beginners and those with more experience are welcome to join these collaborative workshops where you’ll pick up tips and tricks on mending and making in a relaxed setting. This free course is provided by Islington Adult Community Learning.  

Note: This is not a drop-in and we are unable to take any new participants once the course is in progress. 

Thursdays 10.00am to 12.00pm for 10 weeks from 25th April 2024 (excluding Half Term). Main Hall. Free. 


Choir: Camden Harmony Singers

The Camden Harmony Singers are a friendly community choir who sing a variety of music styles from folk to jazz, gospel to pop and songs from many cultures, traditions and faiths.

Singers of any ability are welcome to join, from complete beginners to those with more experience. Choir leader Aaron teaches all songs by ear, so there is no need to read sheet music.​

Wednesdays 6.30 - 8.30pm in the Main Hall (term time) - please check term dates & prices here

Fees apply but the first session is free to new members. 




The Hilldrop Community Garden & growing areas the combined work of dozens of local volunteers who've given their time tending & improving them over the years. It's a perennial task, but very rewarding! We're always seeking green fingered volunteers to join us for our Thursday afternoon gardening session.

We also run special weekend sessions and workshops during the spring and summer months. Visit out Gardening page for full details. 



Thursday afternoons (term-time) from 12 - 2pm.

Hilldrop Ukulele Group

Singing and ukulele playing of classic and contemporary songs; rehearsals leading to group performances. Singers and other instrumentalists welcome. 

Fridays 12 - 2pm (term-time only), Main Hall. £1 - £2 contribution per session



Bengali Kids Group

Currently suspended

After school club for primary-aged children of Bengali heritage. Help with learning Bengali, Arabic, and homework support.

Tuesdays 3.45 - 4.30 pm (term-time only), Small Hall. Free​
