Celebrating the life of Ann Mbachu

It was with enormous sadness that we learned of the passing last November of our much loved friend and colleague, Ann Mbachu. Ann had a long association with Hilldrop Community Centre, as a playworker, volunteer, fundraiser and founder of our long running Ukulele group. She cared deeply for the community she was at the heart of and we will miss the warmth, wit and energy she brought to the centre and all those who knew her.

On Saturday 19th February Ann’s family and friends will host a celebration of her life here at Hilldrop Community Centre after her memorial service. Those of you who knew her and would like to pay your respects are welcome to join us at the centre from 2pm onwards to share memories and toast her inspirational life.
